What a saved source means
A shipment can include text describing its intended tracking-feed source and shipment-email source. Haulwhistle saves that descriptive text with the shipment. Saving it does not connect an account, create authorization, or give Haulwhistle permission to read incoming mail.
Incoming updates today
Current connection state
No compatible tracking-feed or shipment-email connector is installed or authorized.
Haulwhistle is not monitoring incoming shipment email. Incoming update requests are rejected, and that request does not change shipment data. A saved source description alone cannot produce a tracking update or exception.
When a status request can be sent
An outbound status request is sent only when all of these conditions are met:
- A signed-in user with paid access triggers the request.
- Outbound email delivery is configured and available.
- A recipient email and matching exception trigger are saved for the shipment.
- A confirmed exception matches that selected trigger.
The message includes the shipment reference, saved carrier and tracking identifier when present, and the confirmed exception title and context. The app records the attempt and outbound transport result; a successful transport response does not show whether the recipient read the email.
